Trying out the new camera
Jessica had a T-Ball game today. Our good friends, The Pasta's, trekked to York to watch the game with us. It was fun even though it was stinkin hot and Marlee was grumpy! I hope Kathleen wasn't too bored!
We took the kids to dinner at Chilis and then played for a bit at Camp Security playground. It was a great spot to test out our new Nikon D60. After months of researching and trying to decide on a camera, we finally picked this one!

Quick update
and with Mommy . . .
and accepting her diploma from Mrs. Copulus.

Jessica is doin' the Tee Ball thing. I think she enjoys it but it's hard to tell. The other day she said she wished she never signed up for it. But that was after I asked her to get out of the neighbors pool and get ready for her game. She would have much rather been in the freezing cold water! In the picture below, Jessica is playing the position of Pitcher. Coach Daddy is standing behind Shortstop. I think Bob is wishing he never signed up for Tee Ball too :^) Let's just say it's hard to keep 5 & 6 year olds attention for too long.
Check out the pink glove!
Miss Marlee! She's adapted to my going to work quite well. Gee Gee seems to have picked up right where we left off too! Marlee is sleeping in her crib now and sleeping through the night most of the time. She's still a pretty easy baby. She goes with the flow and isn't too demanding when she wants something. She goes for her 4 month old appointment on Thursday. I always enjoying finding out how much weight they gain from month to month. I'm guessing she's hitting the 16 pound mark based on how her diapers are fitting! I'l let you know the true weight after the appointment on Thursday.Sunday, May 17, 2009

Marlee laughing
Long time no write... Things have been busy but nothing too interesting. Marlee is changing everyday - growing like a weed and studying everything so intently. We took this video of her the other night after her bath. It cracked us up!!
This week we celebrated our 8th anniversary and Bob's 38th birthday! He's getting closer to his mid-life crisis!! We took the girls bowling today and then out to eat at Tokyo Diner. They had fun celebrating with the 'birthday boy' (Rachel kept calling him that today)! Reality set in as we got home this evening and realized we needed to mow before it started raining tomorrow. So Daddy had to spend 2 hours of his bday mowing . . . in the dark! Thank goodness the Deere has lights!!
Jessica is doing well with TBall! I think she actually likes it! They are supposed to have their first game tomorrow, but they are calling for rain for the next week, so I doubt we'll be playing. Her team is called the Craley Nationals and their colors are red and black. We're not sure what position she'll end up in yet, since we've only had a few practices so far.
Rachel is gearing up for Kindergarten. She's going to Kindergarten visitation next week with her preschool. I guess she's going to do OK in KG. She's such a character sometimes. Her preschool teacher told me she's an angel . . so I guess she's doing OK. She also has lots of boyfriends at school. Everyday it seems there's a different one. And for some reason, the teacher has her sitting next to all the "behaviorally challenged" boys!
I go back to work on Monday. I am very thankful that I was able to stay home for 14 weeks, but I'm dreading the 8-5 routine again. When am I going to have time to do housework and play with the kids if I'm at work all day?? We're going to have to get used to this whole routine again!
That's about it for now! Enjoy the video!

Easter
The Easter bunny brought lots of fun toys and candy.
Big sister loves to give little sister bunny ears! Love the bed head too!

It was very early in the morning - even Daddy looks tired!

The girls love cousin Hannah! Poor Hannah

Here are the Hersey' Great Grandchildren - all 11 of them! That's a lot of baskets Mom had to make!

Hammin' it up!
Poor Rock Star! He had exploratory surgery to remove what they thought was an obstruction. Turns out he just has an allergy to something! Here's pic of his recovery with his cone head! Stitches come out on the 21st. He seems to be doing better now that he's on prescription food. Hope he doesn't have to stay on it forever . . .$$$.
