just for fun...

Does Jessica look like her Daddy or what???

Easter

We had a relaxing Easter holiday this year. After finding all the eggs the Easter bunny hid, and eating lots of chocolate from the baskets, we traveled down to Gee Gee and Pop Pop's for Easter lunch with the Hersey's. What a big turnout this year. All 11 great grandchildren were there and all but 3 of the grandchildren showed (and those 3 live out of state). After lunch we traveled to Glen Rock to visit with the Beaghan's. The girls were very excited to see GMom and GDad, Aunt Lee and Hannah - and Maggie ( the puppy). They were even invited to stay the night to have a sleepover!

The Easter bunny brought lots of fun toys and candy.
Big sister loves to give little sister bunny ears! Love the bed head too!

It was very early in the morning - even Daddy looks tired!

The girls love cousin Hannah! Poor Hannah

Here are the Hersey' Great Grandchildren - all 11 of them! That's a lot of baskets Mom had to make!

Hammin' it up!
Poor Rock Star! He had exploratory surgery to remove what they thought was an obstruction. Turns out he just has an allergy to something! Here's pic of his recovery with his cone head! Stitches come out on the 21st. He seems to be doing better now that he's on prescription food. Hope he doesn't have to stay on it forever . . .$$$.

Another Ham!

Our last Ham! She's getting so big!

Smile!!

Miss Marlee is 8 weeks old! She's still doing great! Such a happy baby! Her smile is contagious and she's almost laughing - still sounds more like a grunt than a laugh. At night, she sleeps a good 5 hours then goes back down without a problem for another 3. So a decent amount of sleep has been attainable. That is until the older 2 came down with fevers. Rachel had a fever off and on from Wed night through Friday and felt better for the birthday party on Saturday. Now Jessica woke up around 1 am last night with a fever of 102. Will it never end?? However, the fever did not stop Jessica from getting in a few more trips through the inflatable obstacle course set up in our backyard! I guess the Motrin did the trick!

Somehow I manage to chop off the top of her head in every picture!

Sleeping through the party!

After a hard day partying!

Happy Birthday Jessica

We celebrated Jessica's 7th birthday this week! It's hard to believe she's 7 already. (and she acts 14). We had a family celebration on Thursday and she opened gifts from Gee Gee, Mom-Mom and from us. GMom & Dad Beaghan stopped by on Friday with more gifts. She asked for a High School Musical themed party. So we invited a few friends over for a party on Saturday where she opened more gifts. I think it's time we say "No" to gifts! Mrs. Bonnie brought over the big inflatable obstacle course and the kids bounced and froze their butts off for 2 of the 3 hours. They had lots of fun in the process though.

Opening her Easy Bake Oven from Mom-Mom! . . . And then realizing what it was!!

Decorating her birthday cake that she baked with Daddy!

A funny St. Patty's day card from Grand Dad Beaghan!

Kinda boring lately

Unfortunately, there's not much to report lately. Things are pretty boring around the Beaghan household. The girls are busy with school and playing with the neighbor kids. Jessica is getting ready to start T-Ball. Tomorrow is "Bring a rake day". She and Daddy will head to the fields tomorrow to rake them out . . . I can't wait to hear how much fun that was! Mommy, Rachel and Marlee will be home - cleaning, I guess. That's about all we get done in a day . . nursing and cleaning.

Marlee is growing each day. I can tell she's growing because she's fitting into the car seat better now. She's smiling and almost giving us a little laugh - it sounds more like a grunt but I think she's trying to laugh.

I've been nominated as the PTO Assistant Treasurer for next year. Not sure how I'll fit that into my schedule, but I'll try.
Bob is officially an employee of ECORE. He went on the payroll last week as the Senior Programmer. It will be a really good experience for him since we are putting in a whole new software system.
Rachel is ready for Kindergarten. I'll be taking her to registration at the end of the month. I know she'll do just as well as Jessica does.
Jessica is gearing up for her Birthday next week! It's hard to believe she'll be 7 on the 19th. We are having a little friend gathering on Sat the 21st to celebrate. She chose to have a High School Musical themed party! It should be fun. I thought I might get the karaoke machine out!! Hold your ears!

Hope everyone is doing well! Check in with you soon!
