Happy Birthday Rachel!
Rachel celebrated her 5th birthday yesterday and again today! She was so cute yesterday morning. She came down in the morning and showed us how her jammies were too small because she grew so much - - now that she's 5! Of course the jammies she was wearing were probably a size 3T and have been too small for about a year now!! She spent the day with her sisters and Gee Gee, then went to Jessica's Tee Ball practice where she got to play kickball - kids vs parents. It was quite fun! Her choice for her birthday dinner was fried chicken. We topped off the night with a cookie dough ice cream cake from Cold Stone Creamery. Mmmm, I love birthdays!!
The birthday celebration didn't stop there. The party was held today at Maize Quest. The kids had fun despite all the rain. They were drenched with sweat from head to toe!
Rachel received a bunch of nice gifts. . . mostly Littlest Pet Shop items! She also got pink legos, a High School Musical barbie, a Rescue Pet, and Daddy's favorite . . . a slip n slide! Just hope the rain stops soon, so they can try it out.
Marlee is getting big - she'll be 5 months old next week. She's such a good girl still. She likes to laugh and smile at everyone. She's also starting to hold herself in a sitting posting. She still needs some help, but she's almost strong enough to hold herself. Last week, we started giving her a few teaspoons of rice cereal. Jess and Rachel love to feed her. Marlee seems to enjoy it too! She just loves her big sisters!
Jessica is enjoying her summer vacation. She's keeping busy playing with the neighbors, reading and fighting with her sister and parents! Yes, she has developed quite the bad attitude. We're not sure why or where this attitude came from but we're doing our best to nip it early! I'll be sure to let you know how that goes!!
That's about all for now!

Trying out the new camera
Jessica had a T-Ball game today. Our good friends, The Pasta's, trekked to York to watch the game with us. It was fun even though it was stinkin hot and Marlee was grumpy! I hope Kathleen wasn't too bored!
We took the kids to dinner at Chilis and then played for a bit at Camp Security playground. It was a great spot to test out our new Nikon D60. After months of researching and trying to decide on a camera, we finally picked this one!

Quick update

and accepting her diploma from Mrs. Copulus.

Jessica is doin' the Tee Ball thing. I think she enjoys it but it's hard to tell. The other day she said she wished she never signed up for it. But that was after I asked her to get out of the neighbors pool and get ready for her game. She would have much rather been in the freezing cold water! In the picture below, Jessica is playing the position of Pitcher. Coach Daddy is standing behind Shortstop. I think Bob is wishing he never signed up for Tee Ball too :^) Let's just say it's hard to keep 5 & 6 year olds attention for too long.

Marlee laughing
Long time no write... Things have been busy but nothing too interesting. Marlee is changing everyday - growing like a weed and studying everything so intently. We took this video of her the other night after her bath. It cracked us up!!
This week we celebrated our 8th anniversary and Bob's 38th birthday! He's getting closer to his mid-life crisis!! We took the girls bowling today and then out to eat at Tokyo Diner. They had fun celebrating with the 'birthday boy' (Rachel kept calling him that today)! Reality set in as we got home this evening and realized we needed to mow before it started raining tomorrow. So Daddy had to spend 2 hours of his bday mowing . . . in the dark! Thank goodness the Deere has lights!!
Jessica is doing well with TBall! I think she actually likes it! They are supposed to have their first game tomorrow, but they are calling for rain for the next week, so I doubt we'll be playing. Her team is called the Craley Nationals and their colors are red and black. We're not sure what position she'll end up in yet, since we've only had a few practices so far.
Rachel is gearing up for Kindergarten. She's going to Kindergarten visitation next week with her preschool. I guess she's going to do OK in KG. She's such a character sometimes. Her preschool teacher told me she's an angel . . so I guess she's doing OK. She also has lots of boyfriends at school. Everyday it seems there's a different one. And for some reason, the teacher has her sitting next to all the "behaviorally challenged" boys!
I go back to work on Monday. I am very thankful that I was able to stay home for 14 weeks, but I'm dreading the 8-5 routine again. When am I going to have time to do housework and play with the kids if I'm at work all day?? We're going to have to get used to this whole routine again!
That's about it for now! Enjoy the video!
