Merry Christmas

I know we're all busy getting into the spirit of Christmas, right? If anyone is actually ready for Christmas, I don't want to hear it! Between work, pregnancy and normal kid routines, we've been putting off the Christmas preparations. We do however have our tree and the house is decorated somewhat - so it is starting to feel like Christmas now. Good thing since it will be here in a few days.

The girls are doing great. They are very excited for Christmas Day. I hope they aren't disappointed! They were invited to a friends the other week for a Christmas Party. Santa made a surpise visit! Rachel had no problem talking to Santa but Jessica kept her distance. She at least shook hands with him so she could get the book and candy cane he gave out. They saw him again Thurs night at the elementary school party. Jessica had no problem sitting on his lap and telling him what she wanted for Christmas. Must have been peer pressure that helped her do it!
They are both doing well in school still. Rachel is very interested in learning to spell words. She asks what everything says and strings letters together to try to make words. She's very good at writing, " I love Mommy, Daddy, Jessica, Gee Gee and Pop Pop". She writes it on everything!

Baby Beaghan is growing by the mintue. Somedays I think I have an acrobat in there. My contracations (Braxton-Hicks) seem to come more and more each day. As long as they aren't getting stronger they say it's ok. The Dr's are monitoring my platelet counts since they dropped during my last round of bloodwork. They don't know why they dropped and won't be too concerened as long as they don't go below 90, (currently at 128 and normal is betwen 150 and 400). I had blood drawn on Tuesday but haven't heard the results yet. I've been checking my blood pressure quite often too - just in case! I haven't been feeling the best - morning sickness is back, occasional dizziness and overall crappy feeling. Some days are better than others. I'm taking off from work the whole week so I'm hoping that will relieve some stress and allow me to recover a bit. Our Christmas schedule isn't too demanding this year either, so that may help me get some extra rest. I only have 7 weeks to go until the due date, but I'm hoping for at least 1 week early. I guess that means we better get the baby stuff ready!!

We wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!

Ultrasound

Here she is!
We got another look at the newest addition to the Beaghan family today. We had a non medical ultrasound - which just means it was just for fun! She gave us a few good pictures even though she was grabbing the umbilical cord and holding it in front of her face. She also let us confirm that she is still a girl! We think she's going to be another beautiful girl, just like her sisters. We could see her big eyes (like Jessica) and her little Hersey nose and chin (like Rachel). We also know she has a good amount of hair already too. I could have told you that just with the heartburn I get every night.
We are almost 30 weeks now, so only 10 more to go! I have to say, it's getting harder everyday. I had some nausea over the weekend and had trouble keeping anything down. They had me go to triage on Monday to get some IV fluids. They took some blood work and monitored the baby and contractions too. That was miserable, but at least we know everything is ok.

Cupcakes

Here's a cute one of the girls helping me make cupcakes. I think this is the first time we've done this together! It actually went pretty well.

Sorry - not sure why the picture is so small. I'll have to figure out what's different about this posting.

Halloween Pictures

I realized I never posted any pictures of Halloween. So here they are.

Gymnastics and Ballet

The girls started a Ballet class at the Township building on Thursday nights. They really enjoyed the first class last week. So far, they know all 5 positions and are quick to correct me when I try to do them. Unfortunately, there is always one child in a class that needs an attitude adjustment and the parent just never seems to do anything about it! I'm not sure I'll be able to sit through another class if something isn't said to them!! Look out, pregnancy hormones on the loose!

The gymnastics class Jessica used to participate in did not start up yet, so we took her to the 'big gym' (where the instructor is from). They had an open house and let the kids just play and do whatever they wanted. Jessica loved it. Rachel's session didn't start until 6:30, so the poor kid was tortured just watching her big sister having all the fun. Her session was more of a Halloween party though, where they created a maze using all the mats and padded things covered with parachutes. Reminded me of how we used to rearrange the furniture in my parents basement and create mazes to crawl through in the dark!! They also had a big blow up haunted house the kids could walk through. Sorry - I didn't take any pictures. They both keep asking if we can go back there, so we are conisdering signing them up for classes. What they don't understand is the class will have an instructor telling them what they can and cannot do. That might change their tune a bit.

I took off Tuesday from work to attend Jessica's Parent Visitation day. Of course, she ends up with a fever and laryngitis Monday night. So instead of a nice day off I was home with a sick kid. It actually turned out to be a nice day. She took some meds and felt better, so she played with me and Rachel all day. We painted a picture that they named "A Picture of Flowers", we played board games, computer games, and watched TV. It was a much better day than being at work!! I might have to consider this stay at home Mom gig! Just kidding Mom.

On a sad note, A co-worker of mine had a baby boy on Monday but unfortunately, he's not doing so well. The cord was wrapped around his neck and he didn't breathe for the first minute of life. They actually had to revive him. From that, they think he may have brain damage and a condition called DIC, which causes internal bleeding. They are giving him a 50/50 chance of survival. The worst part is that they had scheduled a C-Section because he was breech back on 10/13 but canceled because he turned himself around. She went into labor naturally on Monday and is now faced with all these circumstances because of the cord. She and her family can use all the extra thoughts and prayers!

Hope you all are doing well! I hope to report better news about baby Blaine on the next posting!

PreNatal Checkup #4

We had another prenatal visit yesterday. I tell ya, these months are passing by pretty quickly! I'm now 24 weeks and 4 days, (5 1/2 months)! Dr. E said the baby has a good chance of viability at this point.

I also noticed some funny pains over the weekend - nothing serious just some weird movement. Since then, I've felt a great deal of downward pressure. I was thinking the baby probably turned head down. Dr. E confirmed yesterday that she is now head down! Not that she won't turn back around, but it just makes me feel better knowing she's already down. Her head is about the size of a baseball and she's just reaching 1 pound and about 1 foot long. My mom even said I looked lower this weekend.

Last night as Jessica was reading to us, the baby started to kick around a bit. I told Jess to stop and just watch my belly. The baby let out a big kung fu kick and Jessica was able to see it from the outside. She was amazed! Rachel wasn't paying enough attention and missed it. It's really neat to be able to share it with them. Although, they keep calling the baby Alyssa even though we said that probably won't be the baby's name.

That's all for now!!

Pictures

Here are a few pictures from our weekend. We visited Sam Lewis State park and 'hiked' one of the trails - -And yes I'm crazy thinking I could do it 5 months pregnant. But I did do it!

Ultrasound Day

Well, we went to our Doctor's appointment today and had the ultrasound done!! Our little room was filled with excited people. Of course there was Mommay and Daddy, but we also brought along, Jessica, Rachel and Gee Gee! Everyone waited nervously as the technician measured each little part - the heart, the brain, the leg bones, etc. They checked for cleft palate and lip and anything else that might show up! Finally after all that, she announced . . . . It's a Girl! Needless to say the girls were very excited! They didn't show too much emotion but the smiles on their faces were priceless. Mommy and Daddy probably did a little "oh no" sigh! Gee Gee was just as happy as could be!

You were right Kathleen - we're just like Full House now!! Everybody better keep us in their prayers as we enter the teenage years! We'll be starting the wedding funds soon too! Just kiddin. . .. we are also very excited! It's actually a relief, because I know now that I don't have to buy a whole new wardrobe and toys for a boy. I just have to dig through the 8 tubs of clothes I kept from the first 2!

So that's it! Now we wait another 20 weeks! Oh geez, its going to be a long winter! Wish me luck!

A lot to talk about...

I've taken a lot of grief from all of you since I haven't updated the blog lately! So I'm using my lunch hour to try to get the main points covered.

Since I last wrote, the girls are back in school, tumbling, baton twirling, kids club and anything else you can imagine. Jessica is enjoying 1st grade. She was selected to participate in the Enrichment program with the Gifted Support Teacher!! We're so proud of her! Rachel is doing well with preschool although she does put up a little struggle for Gee Gee when it's time to go. She missed 2 days due to illness and now she thinks she can get out of school if she says she is sick. She catches on fast. Tomorrow she is the star student and is asked to bring in pictures of her family. We so proud of her too!

Jessica started a baton twirling clinic last week. Tonight is her second lesson. She is catching on really quickly too. They are already learning to toss the baton and roll it over their arms, legs elbows and neck!! It might be because she is the only student! I guess twirling is a lost art!
Rachel will start tumbling again tonight and Jessica will start again next month.

We went on a mini vacation last weekend - camping at Knoebels with Gparents Beaghan. The girls really enjoyed them selves and didn't want to leave of course. Daddy and GDad had fun riding rides and being a big kid! GMom always loves spending time with the kiddo's and Mommy enjoyed some quiet time to herself on Sunday!! The adventure started on the way home, when the pop-up camper blew a tire on 81 North of Harrisburg. After the AAA guy fixed the tire we realized our lights were on the entire time and our battery was dead!! Needless to say the AAA guy earned his $ that day! And this is why we don't vacation often!! BAD LUCK follows us everywhere!

Tomorrow marks the 20th week of pregnancy - - 1/2 way!! We also have an ultrasound schedule tomorrow at 2:15! We hope to report the baby's gender on the next blog posting!!!

I'll try to post some pictures tonight!

The HONDA

The girls are so excited. We've made the decision to buy a new vehicle, a "mini-van", or as Jessica calls it "a slide open door"! We went yesterday to test drive the Honda Odyssey. They fell in love with it and now we don't have a choice - we have to get a minivan. Apple Honda actually let us test drive an 05 for the weekend! So we went driving around today. Here are a few pict's from our stop at Gee Gee and Pop Pop's.

Not much happening lately!

I know I fell of the blog bandwagon for a week. Not too much to report on now that I'm back! The biggest news is that school is about to start. Jessica goes back on Tuesday Sept 2 and Rachel on Wed the 3rd. Both are very excited to meet their new teachers. Jessica will have Mrs. Graham and Rachels preschool teacher is Mrs. Copulus. We went back to school shopping - just the girls - - and had a good time. Jessica really wanted a High School Musical Backpack - and of course she got it! She also got a HSM T-shirt and HSM sneakers. She has only seen the first HSM, but it's her favorite movie right now. Poor Rachel didn't really get anything. She has so many hand-me-downs, it's hard to buy anything new for her! We got away with it this year, but I think she'll throw a bigger fit next year!

They are also about to start gymnastics again. Jessica has been practicing her hand stands and Rachel her foward rolls. Neither can do backward rolls yet - so we'll be working on that! They really enjoyed watching the US Gymnastics team in the Olympics. Jessica thinks one day she'll be good enough to go to the Olympics too. She wondered if she goes though, if she would really be there or if she would just watch herself on TV? So cute the way a 6 year old thinks!

This weekend, we are going to the Monstor Truck show at the Buck! The Craigs got a group together, so we thought we would rope Gee Gee and Pop Pop into going with us. I just need to make sure we have lots of earplugs! I'm worried Jessica won't like it because it will be loud. She didn't care much for the fireworks because it was too loud - -I can't imagine what she'll think after this!

Baby #3 is doing fine. Heartrate is still in the 150's according to my doppler. We go next Friday for our next appointment. The nauseau is bearable now, but I recently had a migraine that put me down for a day or so. I've never had migraine before, and I don't care to ever have one again! I'm also in full maternity gear now at 16 weeks - the belly is growing quite rapidly. I think I'm also feeling some of the little flutter movements, but no kicks yet.

See told you, there's not much going on around here lately!

A quick update!

We've had a few quiet days. Jessica completed her theatre class last week. She really enjoyed it although she was nervous about being on stage. Friday was the 'recital' where the parents and grandparents were invited to watch. Gee Gee, Aunt Jean, Rachel and Daddy all went to see our star on stage. She was the only one whose paperbag mask was upside down!! We're so proud!!

Last week was also Vacation Bible School. Rachel is now old enough to go too. They LOVE bible school. Our neighbor is the coordinator and she puts everything she has into it. It's really a great program. The comments we received from the kids teachers were all very positive. Rachels teacher even said she would take 20 kids like Rachel in her class everyday! She really knows how to charm people! Jessica made a really tight bond with her teacher, Donna K.

The girls had a sleepover with Gee Gee and Pop Pop Tuesday night. They love sleepovers! I think they just love to get away from Mommy and Daddy for a night. They are usually allowed to stay up late at a sleep over too. Pop pop took them for tractor rides and Gee Gee put them to work at the junkyard, picking up metal (bolts etc) for scrap. They spent a few hours at the playground with their best friend Kathleen Pasta! We'll be joining the Pasta's for the S-Town Methodist Church Summer Dinner Theatre on Saturday too. This years production is The Wizard of Oz!

They also got in big trouble yesterday. The rules are they are allowed to play in our yard and the 2 adjoining neighbors yard - but they are not allowed to leave the yards. Yesterday, an ice cream/snack truck went by and they all walked down the sidewalk to the stop sign to see the ice cream truck (of course with no money). I caught them out of the yard and that was the end of that! I didn't even yell at them, just explained very calmly that they broke the rules. Jessica was so upset and cried for about 10 minutes - really crying too, not just fake tears. Rachel cried because Jessica was crying. It was kinda funny! I just wonder if they learned their lesson!

On the baby front, I've been feeling crappy. I have a lot of nausea still and feel completely exhausted. I have a feeling this one's a girl since I feel much the same as the last 2 times. We'll let you know when we set up the trust for the weddings! I can no longer wear my regular clothes and I only have about 5 materninty items for summer weather! I've never really needed summer clothes! I'm thankful we have a relaxed dress code at work - jeans and T-s everyday!

On other baby news, we have a new addition to the Hersey family. My cousin Kayla Tompkins had a baby boy on Tuesday morning. Grayson Michael was born at 12:17 am weighing in at 8lbs 5oz and 22 inches long. After what sounds like a grueling labor and deliver, everyone is doing OK. Congratulations Kayla and Wayne and Welcome to the family Grayson!!

Do you believe in aliens?

I now know aliens do exist and they live among us!! And I have proof! Just see for yourself!

Now tell me you don't believe in aliens too? This is actually Baby Beaghan #3 and is a spitting image of Daddy in the morning! Obviously, we had our Dr. appointment today and they graciously gave us pictures of our little one. The good news is that everything looks good so far. We won't know official results of the genetic testing for another week or so, but the Dr. gave us a good opinion so far. The ultrasound was amazing. They did most of the exam with the normal 2D resolution which was a better resolution than most radiologist equipment. I wish we had a few of those pictures. We could see the baby moving all around - kicking so hard at times that he/she looked like a swimmer kicking off from the side of the pool. Amazingly, I still can't feel any of that movement yet.

We will be offically 13 weeks tomorrow. Only 2 trimesters to go! Not too much more to report on. Enjoy the photos!

Prenatal Checkup #2

This morning marked our second prenatal visit. Not too eventful though. I told Dr. Eichenlaub about my headaches and nauseau but of course these are normal. He didn't even get upset with the 3 pounds I've gained since last time. He's more concerened about the cumulative weight gain, not the month to month gaining. He listened for the heartbeat but really didn't get a good reading. He heard enough to know things sound OK but the heart rate was hard to figure out. He guessed 150 ppm. I told him I have a doppler at home, and 2 nights ago it was at 154. He was surprised that I had one, and asked where I got it. I simply told him 'online', where else! I'm scheduled to have some genetic testing done on Thursday with the Maternal Fetal Specialist. They'll do another Ultrasound and a blood test (on me) to determine the chances of the baby having genetic defects. Keep your fingers crossed that everything comes back OK!!

Other than that, the appointment was pretty uneventful. I forgot to ask my official due date though! I'll have to ask the specialist on Thursday what the due date is. I hope to get a picture of the baby from the ultrasound too, but I'm not sure they give pictures there.

A few days off!

I actually took a few days off work last week and had a great time playing Mom! Jessica went for Allergy testing on Thursday and we found out she is allergic to cats - - along with her sister who is also allergic to Mold. So, we now have a wonderful decision to make about our 'beloved' AllyCat!
We spent 2 hours on Friday at the dentist with 4 back to back appointments! No cavities for anyone, thank goodness. This was Rachel's first cleaning too. She was a little hesitant about getting into the chair. After coaxing Jessica to show her how it's done, Rachel had no problem playing patient.
Jessica was invited to a Kindergarten friends pool on Saturday. Mom was also invited to relax and hang out by the pool! It was so nice! Rachel and Daddy stayed home but had a nice surprise from GMom and GDad Beaghan. They stopped by the house after picking up their new puppy, Maggie. She's a CockaPoo, Pomranian mix. SO CUTE!!! I can't wait to meet her in person. Saturday night was also the Eastern York Rec Commissions annual carnival. So we stopped in for dinner, desert and a few inflatable rides. The best ride was the Titanic! Image a big inflatable ship sinking into the water (only the back half of the ship is inflated), where the kids climb up the middle and then slide down the deck. We were waiting for Rachel to just tumble down head over heals. She made it down in one piece though.
Sunday, Jessica recommended we go to the movie theatre. Kung Fu Panda was playing at the $2 theatre and we had nothing else to do! It was an OK movie I guess. This movie had more action than our kids are used to! We treated ourselves to dinner at the Japanese steak house afterwards. The girls liked it except when they lit the grill and created a volcano from an onion! Jessica's just a little afraid of fire.
So it's back to work today - boo hoo! I was just starting to get used to the whole Mom gig! Today is the first day of Jessica' Theatre class. She's starting a one week introduction to theatre at York Little Theatre. I can't wait to hear all about it. Then this evening, both kids will be heading off to Vacation Bible school! So I'll have a few hours to myself. You can guess where I'll be - - horizontal on the couch!
Tomorrow is our 2nd prenatal appointment. I'll report back heart rate and any news we get from the Dr.
Talk with you soon!!

Stewartstown Parade/Carnival

We had a very busy Saturday. First, a pool party at the Craigs/Shelley's. What a perfect day for a pool party too! It must have been 95 degrees! The girls were excited to show off their new swimming ability. Jessica was excited that she could jump into the shallow end from the side of the pool. She must have jumped 100 times. Rachel was more interested in swimming around. They both really enjoyed the dip in the pool!

From there we went over to the Stewartstown Parade. They each brought home about 4 pounds of candy. It's amazing how much candy people throw at this parade!! Good thing we have a dentist appointment on Friday! We'll have to get rid of the leftovers after their cleanings.

To top off the night, we went to the Stewartstown Carnival. The rides were the main attraction here. Mommy and Daddy wanted to eat right away, but the girls just wanted to ride! So after scarfing down a big Pit Beef sandwich (yummy!!) we hit each ride twice. Jessica wanted to try for a goldfish. Gee-Gee gave them $5 to try to win a goldfish. Jessica paid her money to the lady and threw her first ping-pong ball right into the bowl and won a goldfish right off the bat. Rachel threw her 10 balls and came close a few times but didn't actually win - - although the guy was nice and gave her one anyway! Thirty-two dollars later and 2 goldfish richer, we went home! Needless to say, we are now down to 1 goldfish!

A nice weekend

The Beaghan's enjoyed a nice weekend. Saturday was relatively slow until the Lancaster Barnstormers game started. Our company has season tickets right behind homeplate and we had the tickets for Saturday's game. The game was alright . . . A few homeruns, a few players hit by pitches, and a bunch of foul balls. The girls always enjoy baseball games way more than I think they will. The most fun for them though is the huge playground, carousel, and bounce houses set up for the kids. Afterwards, we went to Friendly's for ice cream - - at 10:30 pm mind you! Surprisingly, they did fall asleep on the way home.

Sunday was laundry and cleaning day, until it was time for our friend Josh Craigs 4th birthday party. He had a monster truck party! The bounce house was a huge monster 4-wheeler! They must have bounced for 2 hours straight. They also had fun with the pinata and throwing water balloons. It was great to catch up with our good friends!

Swimming Lessons

The girls started swimming lessons this week. We are taking them to YMCA -Eastern York/Hellam to a pool in an apartment complex. It's quite nice actually. The girls like it because the shallow end is only 3 ft deep and they can touch the bottom! Jessica thinks she can swim because she can walk on the bottom!! But she's learning and they love it! The instructor is great with the kids too.
So far they are learning to wall walk (walking along the wall with their hands), putting their face in the water, jumping in from the side, and kicking with a kickboard. The hardest part so far is putting their face in the water. The girls hate to have their faces wet!! The other problem is the fact that there is no potty - except for the one 1/2 mile away at McDonalds! We are there for almost 2 hours and so far, in two days, we've had 2 accidents. Luckily, the accidents happened while the girls were in their swimsuits, so it wasn't too bad!! I'll have to post some pictures tonight after I snap a few. Gee Gee went with us last night a took some video footage. I may have to ask her to save a clip so I can post it here too - once I figure out how to do that!
Maybe after they learn to swim, we'll consider getting a pool - - just kidding GMom B!!

Baby Beaghan #3

Here he/she is!! Baby Beaghan #3 is official. Not much to look at but I guess you can tell it's human! In case you need help deciphering the picture, the babies head is on the right side of the picture and the butt is on the left. You can see a tiny leg nub and the umbilical cord. But more importantly, we know now there is only 1 baby! We won't know if it's a girl or boy until we have another ultrasound. We have no idea when that will be either.

We're almost 10 weeks along, so we are still in the first trimester. Our Dr. will give us a due date at our next appointment. By my calculation, the due date should be right around Feb 6, 2009.

Enjoy!

Cones and Clubs

We spent Saturday afternoon at Cones and Clubs. It's a great place for kids of all ages - minature golf, ice cream, and animals (black bears, emu's, llamas, and goats). Jessica lead off our minature golf experience with a hole in one!!! I don't even think she understood what she did, until we freaked out about it. Rachel has a new technique for holding a golf club - it's so complicated I can't even explain it. They both really enjoyed playing all 24 holes. I think Mommy stopped around hole 13. I got tired of bending down to get the ball out of the cup. Everytime, I stood up, I felt dizzy. Actually, I was just ready for ice cream! We all chose our favorites. Jessica and Rachel chose vanilla ice cream with rainbow sprinkles. Mommy chose a root beer float. And Daddy chose a banana split!! You should have seen all the looks as he walked back to the table with the mound of ice cream and whipped topping! We were so busy eating, I forgot to snap a picture of it!

Happy 4th!

Happy Independence Day!

The girls were looking forward to watching the fireworks in Wrightsville all day. The rain held off enough for them to have the show - thank goodness! Jessica was not going to be happy if she had to wait another day! She was more interested in seeing her neighbor and friend Olivia at the show. She was also concerned about Olivia missing the rain date show, because she would be leaving for vacation today. I hope she's always so thoughtful and concerned for her friends. Wrightsville puts on a great show at the river. We had front row seats, so it was pretty loud and the fireworks were right overhead. Jessica thought it was great. . .at first . . .until a few of those really loud booms went off. She jumped back to sit on Daddy's lap and held her ears. A few more loud booms and she was covering one eye, yet still giggling. After 15 minutes, she was done! She did not like it anymore and wanted to go to the car. Rachel on the other hand, loved every minute of it. She laughed and told us which colors she liked the best. She didn't even cover an ear or eye. Although, Miss Rachel had to have a potty break in the middle of the display. She and I set off for the port-a-potty. Let me tell you, it was dark and loud in there!

So that was it, our night at the fireworks. One good thing with them staying up late is that they slept in until 9:30 this morning. That never happens!!

PreNatal Checkup #1

We had our first visit to the baby doctor yesterday. He basically told me I'm OLD and there are a few more risks involved with this pregnancy that didn't really exist in the last two. He is offering us a few genetic screening test to determine our odds of carrying a baby with genetic abnormalities. If the screening tests come back 'positive' it doesn't necessary mean the baby has an abnormality it will just mean more testing should be done. We've yet to decide if we are going to have the testing performed or not.

Being only 8 1/2 weeks along, he thought we wouldn't find a heartbeat this early. BUT, this baby's got a good ticker!! As soon as he put the doppler thing on my belly, the heart beat was right there and stronger than I imagined! It registered 170 beats per minute. That confirmed it . . . I'm really pregnant! My mom thinks the heartbeat was so strong because there are probably two heartbeats in there beating in unison!! Wouldn't that be lovely!!

He also thinks my 'calculations' could be off (although I know my dates!!!). He thinks I could be around 10 weeks along because of my size and because he found the heartbeat so easily and clearly. He said normally, at 8 1/2 weeks it's too early to find it.

So the next step is an early ultrasound for size and dating. We are scheduled to go on Tuesday 7/8 at 7 am for the first ultrasound! I'll be sure to post the pictures!!

We'll probably tell the girls the exciting news this evening. They stayed last night with Gee Gee and Pop-Pop and will come home tonight. Jessica will probably do a back flip with excitement. She's been talking about wanting another baby sister for years. Rachel will probably react to her sisters' reaction but will probably be indifferent about the actual news. We'll see!!

The Premier Episode

Well Kimberly, your influence rubbed off on me. I loved your blog and decided the Beaghans needed to do this too!! Not that we have as many great stories to tell, but I figured it's a start.

Since this is the Premier Episode, I must introduce my family - although I'd hope anyone reading this will already know us. The patriach of the family is Bob, Bobby or Robert, which ever you choose. He also responds quickly to 'Daddy'. The matriach, Leanne. Sorry no other nicknames besides 'Mommy'. Then the two lovely ladies, Jessica Leigh, who is now a big 6 year old first grader, and Rachel Ashleigh, the even bigger 4 year old preschooler. What most of you may not know about is the little one that's on it's way!! Yes, you read it correctly, we are expecting baby number 3. Again, Kimberly, I guess you have influenced me in yet another way! Baby #3 is due in February 2009.

I can't forget our 4 legged family members. AllyCat is now 10 and is the nastiest cat you'll meet. And Rocky, the boxer, is just over 1 year old. We think he's turning the corner from puppyhood to adulthood, but that remains to be proven.

So that's us in a nutshell.

Stay tuned!
